FD Rd.1 Results:
Qualified in Top32 out of 50 cars, Then qualified into the Top 16 main event. Great turnout overall despite the trouble we had on the weekend.

Team Drift:
Awesome event, due to Tommy Suell's accident at Rd.1 he was not able to complete our 3 car team: Corolla M.O.B. instead John Russakoff ran with Drift Alliance and Yasu Kondo paired up with Chris Kregorian. Chris had problems so Yasu ran the day by himself just having fun under the Long Beach Sun!

Corolla's have always been a iconic drift vehicle. It's super light weight design and dynamic suspension setup allow some of the world's top drifters ability to angle and pitch the corolla to extreme degrees. Yasu Kondo and Team KAAZ have been familiar with this car for quite some time, this year's setup has not changed much at all, keeping the setup simple and easy to work on. The "A" car seen here will now become a back up vehicle to our 2009 season. With a new engine setup, we plan to make 270RWHP via a F20C Honda S2000 N/A engine setup. After may 2009 this vehicle will be used for a sole purpose of exhibition usage / display vehicle / backup pro car for Formula D.

As we prepare and plan to take our program to the next level, more horsepower and overall performance changes are needed. With wining in mind, a new car is being built to give Yasu Kondo and Team KAAZ USA proper weaponry in having a shot at victory. The new car will be signified as the "Procar B" meaning it is the 2nd purpose built AE86 drift car we have built in the USA.
